Jackie Skelly

Executive Director, Itasca Area Schools Collaborative

Jackie is currently the Itasca Area Schools Collaborative (IASC) Executive Director and also serves as the Director of Special Education for a 6 district Cooperative.  

Jackie graduated from UMD in 2001.  She began her teaching career in general education in St. Paul, Minnesota.  She taught there for 7 years before moving to the Anoka-Hennepin school district.  After 2 years with Anoka-Hennepin, Jackie shifted into special education where her first position was within the Setting IV program.  After 4 years in Anoka-Hennepin, Jackie, her husband and two girls moved to Grand Rapids, MN.  She worked as a Serting III elementary EBD teacher before moving into the role as a Special Education Coordinator and eventually as the Director of Special Education.

Jackie is in her 7th year of serving as the Director of Special Education and the 2nd year in the Executive Director role.
