Nathan Glöckle

Administrator, Duluth Public Schools

Nathan Glöckle is an Administrator for Duluth Public Schools. He is currently working with Duluth’s Area Learning Center in Duluth, Minnesota.

Nathan was a principal for more than 16 years before he transitioned to take on more diverse challenges impacting public schools. Working within the education system for more than 20 years, Nathan has been a skilled leader in school transformation. He was invited to the Department of Education in Washington, D.C. to share his experiences with school turnaround and transformation before being interviewed by the American Institute for Research regarding rapid school improvement practices. He has even helped lead a school from “Priority Status” to “Reward Status” in only a few years.

Nathan graduated from the University of Salamanca, Spain with his Master’s in Spanish Language and Cultures. He went on to earn his Administrative Licensure at St. Mary’s University.

Participants will receive their Cultural Competency clock hours and components that are required by PELSB. This will be a jam packed session full of examples of promising practices that you will be able to apply to your daily routine to be culturally responsive.
