Tonya M. Sconiers is the Founder and Owner of CHARMS Consulting, where she is an education consultant, executive and life coach and professional development trainer.
Tonya has over 30 years of experience leading within the educational system. She is a passionate educator, dedicated to ensuring systemic equity and lifelong success for students and throughout communities. Tonya spent eight years as a 5th grade teacher in Boulder Valley Public Schools and 19 years as an Assistant Principal and Principal at Denfeld High School in Duluth, Minnesota. Tonya spent her time forging pathways to success for her students and partnering with communities to ensure equitable outcomes. She has had the opportunity to advise and work alongside a number of boards and organizations including the YWCA, Men As Peacemakers, Duluth Center for Women and Children and Safe Haven.
Tonya graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. She went on to get her Master’s Degree in Education Administration, Supervision, Curriculum and Program Development from the University of Colorado.
