Live Session: March 16th at 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM CDT

“This above all: To thine own self be true”.  (Hamlet Act 1, Scene 3)

As educators, our greatest desire is to provide a quality, equitable educational experience for our students. To accomplish this feat, we must know and understand ourselves. This session will provide insight into a self-assessment tool, the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI).© ️ The IDI assesses intercultural competence, specifically the capability to shift cultural perspective and appropriately adapt behavior to cultural differences and commonalities. It can effectively measure an individual’s or group’s intercultural competence regardless of cultural background or setting. In other words, the IDI is a trustworthy and consistent way to evaluate how well someone can navigate and engage with diverse cultures in a way that is meaningful and effective.  Join this session to learn more in your cultural awareness journey.
